THURSDAY 28 Feb 2008

My birthday celebration continues. . .

I was so excited that I can't sleep.

Can't wait to go clubbing with usuals.

Always wanted to try out The Wine Company.

FINALLY!

It was a really nice place but it is a little wulu wulu.

It is located at Dempsey Road.

A nice, cozy place to chill your night out.

We had a hard time searching for the restaurant after alighting from the cab.

By the time we found the place, we were all famished.

The prices for the food and wines are pretty reasonable.

We had a white wine.

Very enjoyable!

Yin's mummy gave her 100 bucks to treat me dinner.

Thanks Yin's mummy for the treat and thanks the usuals too!

After that we headed to Double O.

Wen jie joined us after his work.

So fun dancing out night away.

This time round

All of us agreed that our tolerance for alcohol has level up

MONDAY 25 Feb 2008

I was working at United Square.
Yin came over to look for me and we had hearty chats.
We had dinner together and she stayed till I knocked off at 9pm.
So sweet!

After that headed home,
changed and out of home to meet Wen jie.
Went East coast park as long time never been there.
He felt bad that he did not give me a cake on Sat.
He surprised me with a mango cake.
Both if us finished the 500g cake,
it was nice.

The girls celebrated my birthday with me.

So happy to see them.

we had our dinner at Giraffe.

a nice place to dine in.

Also a place that I always wanted to go.

Fiona was so sweet to make reservation.

They sang birthday song for me and I had a Tiramisu cake.

Glad!

After dinner

we headed Party world.

it has been some time

since we last went singing.

I really had a fantastic day!

SAT 23 Feb 2008
Had an early birthday celebration with Wen jie.
After his work, he took me to Shi Na Hong Kong cafe.
Both of us can't finish the food.
It was not bad.
Thanks for the treat!
and also the birthday song :]

After that cabbed down to Cineleisure to catch the movie-Ah Long Pte Lte.
11.50pm's slot was full, therefore we got the 2.05am's slot.
So meanwhile we went over to Youth Park to have our first bottle of wine.
There were lots of mosquitos.
My poor legs got stung like hell.

After first bottle, we went for the movie.
It was a very funny movie.
Laughed like hell!
After that head back to the Youth park but this time round we found seats and some table.
Therefore, he set up the table and we had our second bottle.

The night was peaceful and great!

SATURDAY 16 Feb 2008

Went visiting at Jessica's place with Yin yin and Hong gee
It was lots of fun.
There were lucky draws and the prizes were given away.
trust me, those were big prizes.
the best of all were the 3 top prizes.
!st-$300
2nd-$200
3rd-$100

but none of Yin yin and Hong gee and I got any of the top prize.
Hong gee only got a $20 cash prize which we used for the cab fare to pub.

My birthday fall in Feb.
Jessica's parents were so sweet to get a cake for those Feb's babies
plus a big $80 hongbao.

I shared with Yin yin and Hong gee.

After the happenings at Jessica's place,
the fun continued.

Cabbed over to Boat Quay to meet Wen jie and his friends for drinking at O point.
Chivas and Martell killed me hard.
OH no, it was the Neat that I have to drink while playing games that killed me hard!

Drunk and wasted.
Im back home in one piece!

We decided to catch a movie at Amk hub.

After which, I met up with Sugar baby Fiona.
hang around at Plaza Singapura.
She was so hungary but after eating my cheese fries
she got the strength to shop with me already.

Grandma was admitted to hospital on Sunday.
Luckily she is fine now and she was discharged this afternoon.

Old age is scary
All sorts of health problems wil come chasing after you (if you don't take good care of yourself).

I love my grandma even more now.
It hurts me when I visited her in hospital.
It was pretty obvious that she was rather happy when all her children came to visit her.
I wondered why must they visit only when something happened to grandma as they seldom visit grandma during normal days.
That's human! I wondered.
Only panick when something big took place.

Hopefully grandma's health will be better now.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

I was late

damn bloody late for work!

start work at 11am

but I woke up at 11am

KAOS!

Wanted to take cab but no cabs in sight

Arse!

No choice

Took bus instead

Reach work place at 11.20am.

Luckily no customers waiting outside

if not I die if any customers call the office to ask why Thomson outlet is still closed when it says

open at 11am.

New colleague at work-David Mars(Ken's friend)

He reached at 11.30am

he witnessed my clumsyness trying to get the system set up

I swear to slp early!

Ken came in early for work.

As promised,

we opened a bottle of wine to drink.

bought smoked ham steak, crackers and cheese.

enjoyed ourselves like nobody's business.

After work, headed AMK hub to meet up with Fiona.

shopped around.

We walked all the way from AMK hub to Junction 8.

There was road show for this newly opened resort, Kampong Ubin.

The membership fee was hell cheap!

A lady, I supposed is the boss or someone with high authority, asked if Na and I want to work

She is offering a Admin post or to go and do road show with her.

I accepted the offer and will get back to her after Chinese new year.

the working hours are flexible.

So I suppose I should be able to hold two jobs during my 10 weeks of holiday.

FRIDAY

Today offically marks the last day for my first year in RP.
Time flies.
Classmates are great
I will miss the time we had together.

After class
headed towards Causeway point and had movie together with some classmates- Shi qi, Jeanice, Wei Quan and Debra.
Watched, " The Mist".
A good show with unexpected ending.

THURSDAY

Finally met up with the usuals.

Actually wanted to accompany Hong gee to buy his new year's clothes but end up he was the one accompanying yin yin and me.
But not bad, he bought a pair of slippers.
Had dinner at NA NA THAI restuarant at Far East Plaza
Yin yin has not been there before
and both Hong gee and I have cravings for the food
therefore. . .

It has been long since we last drink together
after lengthy discussions
we decided to head down Boat Quay for a drink.

Went Arcade at Lucky Plaza to slack around
before heading down to Boat Quay.
Played driftng game
My favourite
but i always can't beat my friends.
HA HA!

Hong gee bought us to his usual drinking place where he knows that Bartender.
His friend, Wei cong joined us.
5,10! Drink!
We also played with dice and when the dice hit 7,8,9 . . .
7! Add Whatever you want! 8! Drink half! 9 Finish whatever they have added!

And oh gosh
I was killed badly at both games.
But no doubts
I had fun!

Head off for home after that.
I have school the next following day
and I jolly well know that alcohol will get the better of me.

Therefore, I stay up throughtout and played online Dai dee.
This is really killing, im so addicted to it recently!
